One of my friends did the exact same thing at a convenience store back when I was in high school. He meant to put the car in reverse, but he put it in drive and took out the whole front wall of the store.
I drive with hand controls due to a disability affecting my legs. Back in August 2000, I took my car to a local shop for its annual state inspection and also some other work. Unfortunately, one of the shop employees had a bout of EPIC FAIL - he got his foot tangled in the hand controls and backed my car through a wall. The car was declared totaled and it’s a miracle no one was hurt. Now I wish I had a picture of what happened, it would be perfect for this blog.
Great FAIL, but I’m not really seeing the “Reverse…” part. It looks like somebody want forward and over the embankment…

…and I fail at English first thing in the morning, apparently. WENT forward over the embankment, I meant.

It’s a fail because they obviously thought they selected the reverse gear but evidently not. You fail.
