Yeah, I’m a bit confused on why this is a fail. I wouldn’t go out and drink water from an overflowed storm drain, so why think that this guy getting what I assume is well water rather than floodwater?
I’m starting to get annoyed with the fairly lazy fail pictures that seem to crop up ever so often (on any fail blog). I guess I can’t expect fail gold all of the time.
Look at the water he’s drinking! That is so unsanitary! Enjoy the tapeworms, pal! Epic fail!

That’s not a fail. That pump almost certainly reaches a good 50 to 200 feet down, and the water coming up the pipe has been filtered nd purified in the aquifer.
The water he’s pumping into the bucket is MILLIONS times cleaner than the floodwater on the ground.
So, I say: “/failblogger is /fail” …!
