Next, genetics play a bigger part in physique than most think. Though there doesn’t seem to be a uniform distribution of fat here, which is suspect. I won’t rule out the possibility of this body type since reproduction is a minefield.
Finally, laziness when it comes to exercise is a crap excuse. You don’t have to dedicate yourself to a gym and can easily create a schedule that works for you. I’ve managed to whip myself into pretty good shape with 30 minutes of intense exercise every other day for a year. If you seriously can’t spare a half hour, I don’t know what to say. Hell, even simply opting to drive less or using stairs instead of the elevator can add up over time.
It’s a matter of choice, I suppose.

For those who decide that mocking people larger than them is fun, I have some advice: go to hell. I’ve struggled with weight my whole life and have been on both sides of the street. I have been both very fit and skinny, as well as being fairly large and unhealthy. I can say from dealing with many, MANY other people that personality comes first and the rest is secondary. Sure, there are some people who are GIGANTIC and who are very unappealing to look at, I’ll give you points there, but just because someone is what you consider ugly isn’t a reason to mock them or not try to be their friends. Maybe you don’t want to date someone like that, and that’s understandable, but stop being dicks to them. There are also many people who I’ve met who could under no possible application of the word, ever be considered skinny or thin, but were still phenomenally attractive (I had a large girlfriend at one point who many guys were jealous of because of her attractiveness, and not just fat guys – oh, and I wasn’t fat at the time either).
For people who say that fat is sexy, well… sometimes. Fat used to be considered universally sexy, but that was three or so centuries ago. Times have changed. Modern standards of beauty are different. So yes, some fat people are sexy, but some aren’t. Stop defending everyone and just be honest. Everyone is, to some extent or another, vain. We all have certain things that we find attractive in a person of the opposite sex.
I don’t understand what’s with all the name calling and hurling of insults. We’re all people, we all have our opinions, but why just because you have anonymity do you feel the need to be assholes (some people, not everyone)? Actually, I am bulimic and rise or fall in weight from healthy to underweight. I defend people like her because if she is happy with herself, then that is all that matters. Next, genetics play a bigger part in physique than most think. Though there doesn’t seem to be a uniform distribution of fat here, which is suspect. I won’t rule out the possibility of this body type since reproduction is a minefield.
Finally, laziness when it comes to exercise is a crap excuse. You don’t have to dedicate yourself to a gym and can easily create a schedule that works for you. I’ve managed to whip myself into pretty good shape with 30 minutes of intense exercise every other day for a year. If you seriously can’t spare a half hour, I don’t know what to say. Hell, even simply opting to drive less or using stairs instead of the elevator can add up over time.
It’s a matter of choice, I suppose.

For people who apparently feel they are professionals, you have no knowledge to back up that she is “unhealthy” just because she is a larger girl. There are a large number of people who have lived very long lives while simultaneously having few or no health problems and being quite heavy.
For those who decide that mocking people larger than them is fun, I have some advice: go to hell. I’ve struggled with weight my whole life and have been on both sides of the street. I have been both very fit and skinny, as well as being fairly large and unhealthy. I can say from dealing with many, MANY other people that personality comes first and the rest is secondary. Sure, there are some people who are GIGANTIC and who are very unappealing to look at, I’ll give you points there, but just because someone is what you consider ugly isn’t a reason to mock them or not try to be their friends. Maybe you don’t want to date someone like that, and that’s understandable, but stop being dicks to them. There are also many people who I’ve met who could under no possible application of the word, ever be considered skinny or thin, but were still phenomenally attractive (I had a large girlfriend at one point who many guys were jealous of because of her attractiveness, and not just fat guys – oh, and I wasn’t fat at the time either).
For people who say that fat is sexy, well… sometimes. Fat used to be considered universally sexy, but that was three or so centuries ago. Times have changed. Modern standards of beauty are different. So yes, some fat people are sexy, but some aren’t. Stop defending everyone and just be honest. Everyone is, to some extent or another, vain. We all have certain things that we find attractive in a person of the opposite sex.
I don’t understand what’s with all the name calling and hurling of insults. We’re all people, we all have our opinions, but why just because you have anonymity do you feel the need to be assholes (some people, not everyone)? Don’t we have enough shit to deal with in this world already without biting at one anothers throats (ignorant and cruel people are exempt from this statement, bit at their throats all you want)?
