Toyota Fail

Toyota just fails in general. I bought a new Camry and blew two fuses before I got home. I’m fed up with Toyota and all their malfunctions and recalls. First it was the floor mats, then it was the size of the pedals, then worn pads, then a computer malfunction, etc. Now they’re recalling basically every major model. This sucks!

What’s Ironic is that all these problems started to grow in number once the plants were brought in to United States Soil. So the US is either incapable of providing actual working products due to lack of potential, or Toyota hasn’t figured out how to mimic US brands that create Cars with a short lifespan.

Well you could always buy American, LOL.

Or, it could be that honest number are being reported, rather than the skewed ones we’ve seen in the past. I’ve bought American all my life and have never had any problem with ANY vehicle, while friends/family that swear by Toyota have tons of problems and just accept them with a smile. My F.I.L. had a new 4 Runner that was in the shop 100+ days of the first 18 months he had it, and he still swears by Toyota. The list goes on of Toyota problems and American car LACK of problems, but sheep still buy that crap. They deserve what they get.

Also, the problems with Toyota today are ENGINEERING problems, and Toyota’s engineers are in JAPAN. Nice try laying that one on America, but you fail miserably. I’d be unhappy too if I was as full of fail. Perhaps a person should get some prozac and get a life. . .

My family’s driven Toyotas for 30 years and never had a lick of problems. My Subaru has been in the shop more often than my Corolla (once in ten years, sure, but one is still more than zero). ::shrug::

hmm toyota fail
is it enough of a fail to make a ford or gm win? It would be interesting to see if a competitor exploits toyota. imagine if ford got a hold of something like toyotafail.com!!!!

My Toyota was one that was recalled. I have experienced self acceleration problems amongst other problems with the vehicle since recieving her in Dec 2007. I had reported the acceleration problem to Darrenwood Toyota on numerous occassions. They fitted a spring behind the pedal, and when it self accelerated another time they changed the vehicles mats, saying this was the cause for the vehicle self accelerating defect. It self accelerated again and Darrenwood said I should put all my complaints in writing to Toyota SA, which I did. Toyota never replied to my e mail, until they recieved a frantic call from me one Friday morning at 9.55am. My vehicle had self accelerated at an astonomical speed straight into my garage wall. My daughter who normally opens the garage would have been crushed to death, had she opened on this particlar morning. This was beyond my control. The distance between me driving into the garage and hitting the wall is app 10m. If you see the damage to the vehicle you will understand how high the revs shot and at the astronomical speed it hit the wall.. Toyota to this day has not been to inspect the vehicle, and yet they have replied saying they have found that the accident was not caused from the accelerator unit self accelerating. I find this amusing as they must have invisible technicians/mechanics that have been to inspect the vehicle. Its about time we all took a stand before more lives are endangered and Its about time TOYOTA took RESPONSIBILITY for their negligence. I would like to hear of others that this has happened to as I am not taking this lightly.
